Mrs. W. C. Campbell, a widow, as plaintiff, filed this suit in the District Court of Cottle County, Texas, against W. P. Mayberry, as defendant, for title and possession of 4 tracts of farm land situated in Cottle County consisting of 410.83 acres of land owned by her. The defendant answered by a plea of not guilty and specially pleaded a Soil Conservation Reserve Contract alleging that same was a contract between plaintiff and the United States...
