This is a malpractice case. John Thad Scott, Jr., brought suit against Dr. Richard E. Leigh, Jr., for damages allegedly resulting from negligence and malpractice. Plaintiff alleged that he sustained injuries to one or both of his eyes as a result of an examination on January 14, 1959, and subsequent treatment by the defendant.
