The defendants, Charles and Dorothy Iannello, husband and wife, were found guilty by a jury on an indictment (numbered 767) which was one of fifteen indictments charging them as codefendants with stealing from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The case, made subject to G.L.c. 278, §§ 33A-33G, comes to us upon appeal accompanied by five assignments of error.1 It is contended by the defendants that the judge committed...
