From 1935 to 1947 the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad Company (the New Haven) was in reorganization under Section 77 of the Bankruptcy Act, as amended, 11 U.S.C.A. § 205. During that long reorganization the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut issued an order on January 13, 1940, in which, among other matters, it disallowed the claim of the Trustees of the Boston and Providence Railroad Corporation
