This appeal is from a judgment denying a petition for a writ of mandate. Petitioners seek reinstatement in respondent union, having been expelled for "conduct unbecoming a member." The conduct involved is their "peaceable, open, public, active, and vigorous campaign and support" for Proposition 18, the "right-to-work" law, in contravention of the expressed official policy of the union.
