Walter Emerson Veasey was tried and convicted in the Superior Court of Fulton County of the murder of Charles Joseph Cody. The jury did not recommend mercy, and the defendant was sentenced to death. His motion for new trial on the general and four special grounds was denied, and the excepts to that judgment. The general grounds are contained in grounds 1, 2, and 3 of the amended motion for new trial, and the special grounds are denominated as grounds...
