Bobby Bailey, while driving an automobile, was fatally injured in a sideswipe collision with a truck driven by Earl Meadows, a 17-year old boy. In this wrongful death action Bailey's administrator recovered judgment on a $5,000 jury verdict rendered jointly and severally against Meadows and against Earl Bowling and wife, Ethel Bowling.
