By information filed by the district attorney of Humboldt County, defendant was charged with a violation of section 501 (now § 23101) of the Vehicle Code (felony drunk driving). At the conclusion of the trial the jury returned a verdict of guilty and judgment was accordingly entered. He now appeals from the judgment and from the denial of his motion for a new trial.
