On July 31, 1958 while plaintiff, Dolores Croucher Eberlin (Eberlin), was a passenger in the automobile of additional defendant, John H. Hampton, Jr. (Hampton), Hampton's automobile and a train of the Pennsylvania Railroad Company (Railroad) collided at a grade crossing in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
