This suit was instituted by plaintiff, a teacher in the public school system of Lafayette Parish, against the Lafayette Parish School Board.

For a cause of action plaintiff alleged that he was the holder of a valid teacher's certificate for the State of Louisiana, that he had been employed in the school system of the Parish of Lafayette for the past 28 years, and that on August 15, 1957, and for a period of more than three years prior thereto...
