The statement of facts reflects that Herman L. Curtis was killed when two .22 caliber rifle bullets were fired into his chest while he was operating a service station.

Appellant's confession was introduced into evidence by the State which recites that on the date in question he drove his car to the home of Alfred and Ramon Gonzalez; that Alfred asked him to take them to a filling station...
