The plaintiff in this suit seeks to recover total and permanent disability benefits under the Workmen's Compensation Act LSA-R.S. 23:1 et seq., for injuries received in an accident which occurred on May 15, 1959. The plaintiff was employed as a member of a logging crew cutting, loading and hauling pulpwood near the Mississippi levee in East Baton Rouge Parish.
