The defendant, Albert A. Fiddler, was charged in the Superior Court for King County, by information in two counts, with committing the crime of carnal knowledge under RCW 9.79.020. In the first count the crime was alleged to have been committed, on or about April 2, 1959, upon the prosecutrix, his stepdaughter, who was then fourteen years of age.
