In the court below, Posin brought suit against Alper for accounting and dissolution of their joint venture, and for the appointment of a receiver. He requested that the receiver take possession of the motel business operated by the coadventurers, sell it for a fair price, and distribute the proceeds according to their interests. By his answer, Alper also requested the court to proceed immediately with the sale of the assets of the joint venture...
