This appeal is from a judgment dismissing appellants' complaint on the ground of the statute of frauds, KRS 371.010(6).

The substance of the complaint is that after plaintiffs and defendants had agreed to take oil and gas leases on a 21-acre and a 33-acre tract of land the defendants went to the owner, falsely told him that plaintiffs had withdrawn from the deal, and obtained the leases in the name of one of the defendants, who now holds for...
