RUARK, Judge.

A Fourth of July vacation collision tragedy has reached this court in the form of an appeal by the plaintiff from a verdict of $15,000 rendered on defendant's humanitarian negligence counterclaim.

The head-on collision occurred on Highway 67 in Butler County at a place where the 22-foot two-lane highway runs straight and level for several miles between gravel or all-weather shoulders some 10-12 feet in width. It was in the middle of a clear day...
