This appeal is from the decision of the Patent Office Board of Appeals affirming the rejection of claims 13-16 and 19 of appellant's application, Serial No. 460,420, filed October 5, 1954, for a patent on a process of making a highly lustrous plastic sheet material. Samples submitted show the surface to resemble that of "patent" leather. The rejection was initially based on a number of patents, but was sustained by the board only so far as it was based...
