This is an action of trespass on the case for negligence. It was tried before a superior court justice sitting with a jury and resulted in a verdict for the defendant. The plaintiff's motion for a new trial was granted by the trial justice, and the case is before us on the defendant's bill of exceptions to the granting of such motion and to the denial of its motion for a directed verdict.
