The claimant sustained an injury to his back while working for the respondent employer in 1944. This resulted in a spinal fusion being performed by Dr. Sullivan and in 1949 that compensation case was closed with a lump sum settlement. In 1956 while working for the appellant employer the claimant slipped and fell on his buttocks.
