LEGGE, Justice.

In this action for wrongful death the defendants' motions for nonsuit and direction of verdict were refused, and the jury found for the plaintiff $17,500.00 actual damages. Thereafter, the trial Judge refused defendants' motion for judgment n. o. v., but ordered a new trial because of excessiveness of the verdict unless the plaintiff should remit $3,500.00 of it, which was done.
