Two appeals are before us. In No. 19209, the appealing defendants are Cravens, Dargan & Company, and A.E. Stewart, on behalf of himself and certain underwriters at Lloyd's, London. Their appeal is from the judgment as a whole. In No. 19312, the appealing plaintiff is Charles J. Benton. He appeals from that portion of the judgment which limits his recovery to $3,000 plus interest. The appeals have been briefed and argued together, and will both be disposed...
