1. Counsel for the defendant contends that there was no evidence to show that Quilla Echols was operating the automobile at the time the State Troopers made the investigation. With this contention we do not agree. The testimony of the only witness shows that when the troopers arrived at the scene of the alleged crime, the defendant was sitting under the steering wheel of the automobile and attempting to get the car in gear; that the motor of the automobile...
