This is an action to recover damages for personal injuries alleged to have been sustained as a result of the joint negligence and recklessness of the agents and servants of J.N. Williams and the State Highway Department. The case was previously before this Court on a question of venue. Deese v. Williams [and South Carolina Highway Department], 236 S.C. 292
