George Henry Rayne, a Maryland State prisoner, has filed a petition in this court for release on habeas corpus.

On September 15, 1954 he was indicted by the Grand Jury for Worcester County, Maryland, in three counts, one for assault with intent to murder, another for assault with intent to rape and a third, for assault, all upon one Mrs. Agnes Marie Disharoon.
