Johnny Shadrick died intestate on June 27, 1958, while residing in and a domiciliary of Jackson Parish. At the time of his death he had on deposit in a Detroit bank a sum in excess of $18,000.00. The entire account was withdrawn on July 10, 1958, by Willie Shadrick, who claims the funds by virtue of a trust allegedly created for his benefit by the deceased.
