This is a workmen's compensation case. On May 5, 1958, claimant, Bailey W. McCarty, suffered personal injuries as a result of slipping and falling during the course of his employment. After being treated by a local physician for a few days, he was taken on May 9th to a hospital in Greenwood, South Carolina, where he remained until May 21, 1958.
