Plaintiffs, husband and wife, brought this suit against the City of Shreveport for damages allegedly sustained by Mrs. Cook when she tripped over a stake which had been driven in the pathway of her yard by members of a municipal surveying crew engaged in widening and improving Grigsby Street within the city. The City filed an exception of no cause or right of action on the theory of governmental immunity and the same was overruled in the lower court...
