Mr. and Mrs. William D. Thornton sue for damages arising from an automobile accident which occurred April 8, 1958, on U. S. Highway No. 165, between Urania and Olla in LaSalle parish. This cause was tried before a jury on November 24 and 25, 1958, and resulted in a judgment in favor of William D. Thornton for special damages of $1,424 and in favor of his wife in the amount of $15,000 for personal injuries. An appeal was lodged in this court and after...
