This is what is commonly referred to as a "slip and fall" case. Florence Rosen, as plaintiff, brought this action for damages against Skillern & Sons, Inc., as defendants, alleging that about 6 p. m. on December 30, 1958 she entered defendant's store at the intersection of Main and Ervay Streets in Dallas, Texas and that by reason of the negligence of defendant in permitting water, ice and snow to collect on the floor of its store she was caused...
