On March 25, 1951 claimant, while employed as a longshoreman, sustained an accidental back injury for which he was awarded compensation for total and partial disability for the period from March 26, 1951 to January 19, 1954. On the report of the board medical examiner, the case was then closed. Based on a medical report by Doctor Kaufman dated August 1, 1956 indicating an acute exacerbation of low back pain with radiation to the right thigh and the existence of a slipped...
