In Count I of a grand jury indictment defendant Richards was accused of violating section 11501, Health and Safety Code, in that on August 19, 1960, she sold, furnished and gave away a narcotic (heroin). In Counts II and III both defendants were charged with like offenses, which were alleged to have been committed on August 23d and 24th, respectively.
