This suit arose as a result of an automobile accident which occurred in the Parish of Tangipahoa on U. S. Highway 190 about one mile east of Hammond, Louisiana, between a Cadillac automobile owned and operated by the plaintiff, Jesse J. Bickford, and a Dodge pickup truck, belonging to one Sam Dimattia and under the control of one Sam A. DePaula.
