Lake Griffin was convicted of manslaughter in the Circuit Court of Neshoba County and sentenced to serve ten years in the state penitentiary, from which verdict he appeals to this Court. Clifton Eakes was killed about 6 P.M. on the evening of the 8th of October 1960 on Highway 16, which runs east and west, as he was traveling west and attempting to turn north into his driveway.
