This is an action for damages by the plaintiffs, husband and wife, for injuries to the wife received in a fall on a public sidewalk in front of a bowling alley operated by defendant Paul Brakemeier, doing business as Shorty's Bowl, in Olivia, Minnesota. At the close of plaintiffs' testimony the court directed a verdict for both defendants, Brakemeier and the village of Olivia.
