This suit arose as a result of injuries received by plaintiff, Aglia Broussard, on December 4, 1958, as she was attempting to walk across Laurel Street in Eunice, Louisiana, when she was struck by an automobile driven by Mrs. Clayton Thompson. At the time of the accident Mrs. Thompson was on a community mission.
