SHEA, J.

The plaintiff, who, by the pleadings, was admitted to have been an invitee, sustained injuries as the result of a fall from the back porch of a house on the defendant's premises. These injuries were alleged to have been caused by the defendant's negligence. The court directed a verdict for the defendant and thereafter denied the plaintiff's motion to set it aside. The plaintiff has appealed.
