This is a proceeding under 28 U.S.C.A. § 2255 in which the petitioner alleges that he is presently confined at McNeil Island, Washington, pursuant to a sentence imposed by the United States District Court for the District of Kansas upon petitioner's plea of guilty to an offense in violation of 18 U.S.C.A. § 2113(a). The petitioner asserts that his plea of guilty was made from lack of subjective understanding of the nature of the offense charged...
