Mrs. Firth sued MacDonald for personal injuries allegedly received in an automobile accident which occurred on June 27, 1958, when the MacDonald car struck the rear of the Firth car which had stopped for a traffic light. The case was tried before a jury, resulting in a verdict in favor of Mrs. Firth in the sum of $15,000, on which, over the objection of the defendant, judgment was entered on August 2,...
