This suit arises out of an accident that occurred in Caddo Parish just beyond the city limits of Shreveport on March 15, 1959. The plaintiff, Mrs. Barbara Akers Martin, was riding on the front seat of an automobile driven by her husband, Obie Martin, which was traveling outbound on a road leading to Blanchard, Louisiana.
