Plaintiff wife filed suit for divorce against her husband, the defendant. The jurisdiction of the court over the defendant resulted from personal service of summons on him in Nevada. He made no appearance in the action because at the time of service he was a member of the armed services stationed in California, and later he was transferred to Japan. In due time defendant's default was entered and the case proceeded to trial. The court entered judgment...
