This is an action of tort by Hope E. Faulkner (hereinafter called the plaintiff) to recover damages for personal injuries and by her husband to recover consequential damages resulting from her falling in the entranceway of a store of the defendant. The plaintiffs excepted to the allowance of a motion by the defendant for directed verdicts and to the exclusion of certain evidence.
