By stipulation of the parties the above-entitled causes, although briefed separately, have been consolidated for the purpose of argument and decision.

The two defendants, Cirilo Sacoco and Luis Cuaresma, were separately indicted for the offense of indecent assault under R.L.H. 1955, § 309-17. Upon a plea of guilty entered by each, they were both sentenced to imprisonment...
