In October, 1959 there were verdicts for the plaintiffs in these actions and the defendants prosecute here their responsive motions for new trials. The defendants were the landlords of the plaintiffs who are husband and wife and who occupied a tenement in a three-family dwelling with a common rear entrance in the normal use of which the plaintiff wife sustained injuries.
