This is an action brought by the plaintiff, Hilda E. Schenk, a tenant in a house in Clackamas, Oregon, that she and her husband were renting from the defendant-landlord, Carl Lamp. Plaintiff seeks damages for injuries sustained as the result of a fall on the back steps of the leased premises.
