Alfred Player, a prisoner in the Maryland House of Correction, seeks to appeal from the District Court's dismissal without a hearing of his petition for a writ of habeas corpus. The District Court, while granting leave to appeal in forma pauperis, denied the required certificate of probable cause. The question now before the court is whether probable cause exists for the issuance of the certificate. Burgess v. Warden, 4 Cir., 1960,
