The accident occurred on January 30, 1958, at an uncontrolled intersection in the city of North Fond du Lac. Michigan street runs north and south; Cleveland street runs east and west. Painted crosswalks extend across Michigan street between the southeast and the southwest corners and between the northeast and northwest corners. Washington school is located one block north of the intersection on Michigan street. About 500 feet north of the intersection...
