This is an indictment for rape which was tried to a jury in the superior court and resulted in a verdict of guilty. The case is here on the defendant's bill of exceptions to evidentiary rulings of the trial justice.

At the conclusion of the evidence before them at the trial the only question for the jury to determine was whether the complaining witness had been sexually assaulted by defendant...
