The plaintiffs were struck and knocked down by a car driven by the named defendant, hereinafter referred to as the defendant, and owned by his father, the other defendant. The plaintiffs were walking, side by side, from the southwest corner to the northwest corner of the intersection of Main Street and Middle Turnpike in Manchester.
