The defendant, State Mutual Life Assurance Company of Worcester, Massachusetts, appeals from a judgment entered on its policies insuring the life of Richard K. Blodgett. Four of the policies were issued in 1938, two for $1000 each and two for $1100 each. A fifth policy for $1000 was issued in 1941. Blodgett disappeared in 1947. In 1959 the beneficiaries, Ruth P.
