Plaintiff, the wife, brought suit against her husband for separate maintenance. Defendant cross-petitioned for divorce and the court entered its decree as follows, without the caption:

"The Above Entitled Matter having come on before the Court for hearing on the 20th day of April, 1960, and the Plaintiff appearing in person and by her attorney, W.A. Swainson and her witnesses and the Defendant appearing...
